LOCAL AND/OR GENERAL I play unsolicited material, which means you don't have to contact me beforehand if you want to send me your demo. I listen to everything I get sent, eventually, and if you want to see if your CD is getting played have a look at my weekly playlists. My policy for playing material is simple: I like it, I play it. At least once. If you are a band or performer gigging in Melbourne regularly you are more likely to get played more often. If you aren't sure if your music is appropriate or likely to be well received, listen to the show or, again, check my playlists to see what kind of stuff gets on. I accept material on CD or vinyl. If you are sending in material on vinyl, make my job (as a volunteer!) easier by sending a CD version as well. Please label the CD properly, and the CD case. And make sure you check the CD isn't faulty before sending it! I don't play music that I receive as MP3, nor will I download your music to play on the program. If you want me to play it, then please send me an audio CD. Bios should be short (no more than one page) and should contain relevant, up-to-date contact information. CDs should have tracklists on the case, preferably with track durations (for demos). Please only send the CD and a one page bio. No photos, lollies, glossy folders, fancy packaging etc etc. I will chuck it ALL out. If you send gig information with the CD that isn't relevant that week, send me a follow up email with the details, for when I compile my gig guide. Or I'll forget. Yes, I am that hopeless. bands/artists can
