LOCAL AND/OR GENERAL
A number of Melbourne's live music venues are having problems with noise complaints. A Live Music Taskforce has been set up by the Victorian Government and is set to review the impact of 'existing regulation on the city's live music scene and look at legislative models used in other states'(Melbourne Times, June 11) in order to try and resolve some of the problems being faced by venues like The Empress in North Fitzroy and The Espy in St Kilda. Local and/or General is an Australian music program on community radio
station Triple R in Melbourne. It's
